Bike Routes In The Usa’s 5 Bike Friendliest Cities
The ride will take place on May 5, with an amazing wave of riders leaving the starting point from 7:30am. The last wave of riders will start at 9.20. It will rain on Sunday, so keep that in mind.
The walk starts at Tribeca at Franklin Street and Church Street, heads north through Manhattan and Central Park, crosses the Bronx on the Madison Avenue Bridge, and returns to Manhattan on the Third Street Bridge. From there, Manhattan runs along the waterfront to the Queensboro Bridge, then around Astoria and out into the loop before heading south over the Pulaski Bridge to Brooklyn. Riders run the BQE and cross the Verrazano-Nero Bridge to the finish line in Staten Island. Phew.

STATEN ISLAND, Calif. — Staten Islanders planning to ride Sunday, May 6, should plan ahead and familiarize themselves with street closures and alternate routes as the area marks the final stop of the Five-District Bike Tour.
More than 30,000 cyclists will depart Lower Manhattan at 7:30 a.m., head north through Central Park, head south along the East River on the FDR Drive, and head toward Harlem and the Bronx.
According to Bike New York, the nonprofit organization behind the event, they will then ride the Verrazano Narrows Bridge through Queens and Brooklyn to the finish line in Fort Wadsworth.

To accommodate bicyclists, the lower deck of the Verrazano Narrows Bridge to Staten Island will be closed from 12:01 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday
