Bon Jovi Tour 2023 Canada – Bon Jovi kicked off their spring 2022 US tour with a show last night at the Chi Health Center in Omaha, Neb.
The band began their set with “Limitless,” the opener from their 2020 album 2020. From there they moved into “The Radio Saved My Life Tonight,” playing the song for the first time in concert since September 2015.

Bon Jovi continued to mix things up throughout the night, performing classic hits like “You Give Love a Bad Name” and “Wanted Dead or Alive,” along with deeper album cuts. Among the surprises, “Just Older”, which has not been heard in a Bon Jovi concert for more than a decade.

Midway through the set, the band delivered an acoustic trio of songs, performing versions of “American Reckoning,” “We Don’t Run” and “Sam Day I’ll Be Saturday Night.”
The iconic song “Livin’ on a Prayer” brought the house down at the end of the first set. Bon Jovi then returned for “Love’s the Only Rule” and “Bad Medicine.”
In a recent conversation with the Charlotte Observer, frontman Jon Bon Jovi described the “good problem” he faced when choosing a set list.

“I’m blessed. I’ve put out 17 albums in my career. That’s a lot of music. . . . You’re like, ‘Oh, this one’s good to put out again.’ And it’s not an easy task, because people want to hear songs X, Y and Z… You have to do all the obvious hits,” he explained. “Believe me, it’s a good problem to have. But yeah, hits take up 70%, and that gives you 30% for new material and dark tracks. That’s kind of devastating. [So it leaves you] with X amount of space for your art, you know, the “listen and see me” moment, when it’s just an “I don’t care if you don’t want to hear this” song, I want to play it. They let me have one or two of these.”
“Then I have the advantage of changing it every night,” he continued. “If someone hears ‘always’ one night and ‘bed of roses’ the next, that’s fine. Everything is acceptable.”
