SPRINGFIELD – World-renowned entertainer Bruno Mars will perform at the MassMutual Center in Springfield on June 10 and 11, officials announced Monday.

Mars is the winner of 15 Grammy Awards. Both shows are shown to audiences of 12,000.

Shawn Dolan, general manager of MassMutual Center, said in a statement Monday morning that by booking Mars, MGM Springfield is showing its commitment to western Massachusetts.

“The most important thing we’re doing here is the economic impact,” Dolan said, adding that the weekend the Mars Show is “going to be a fantastic weekend for the city and the region.”

Tickets for the shows go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., with prices starting at $125. A limited presale for MGM Rewards members begins Thursday.
