“I’m happy that we have loyal fans and that people can come and see what we’re doing and appreciate it. The four of us want to put on a great show and we want people to go out and really feel like they’re getting their money’s worth. That’s what we do. I’m very lucky to have it, but the bottom line is just doing something that we’re highly rewarded for and then sharing it. I’m glad people are into it, you know? There are a lot of people who understand what we do and a lot of people who don’t understand what we do.

We upgraded the show. We haven’t played in every market and we want people to see what we’re doing. We might pull out some of the old stuff and adjust our set list and beat a bit. And we have some new visuals that are really cool.

I think with age you find ways to sing that thing where it doesn’t hurt. You can recreate it without the emotional and literal scabs of hurting yourself. I think my writing has changed over the years and I can do some of these songs. I can’t do a complete set of these songs. I can still do these things because I can pepper them, but you can’t… If you really sit down and think, you can’t expect some of these people to do what they do. Done… 30 years ago, 40 years ago. You cannot expect this from this body. Your body doesn’t do these things forever.
